It's that time of year again at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park!
Here you can swim in crystal clear spring water, relax on the beach, grab a cold drink at the tiki bar or take in one of the famous mermaid shows, animal shows or take a relaxing river boat ride down the Weeki Wachee River and enjoy nature at it's best. If your a little more adventurous (like Elsie) you can rent a single or double kayak and paddle your way down the Weeki Wachee river...but give yourself about 3 hours and don't worry...it's only 1 way by kayak and the ride back by vehicle is a breeze!
Season passes make great gifts for my family during the holidays at $25 each and are great when the kids are off for Spring Break and also during the summer vacation from school. We usually pack a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon at Buccaneer Bay. I'm not sure who loves going there more....my kids or me??!! We are so fortunate to have this park and many more places and things to do right here in Hernando County.
