When selling your house, it is important to have the potential home buyer visualize what it would be like to live in the home. Decorating for the holidays is one way to accomplish that goal. Fall has started, and everyone loves the Fall season. It is that relief from the hot summer months.

Table Centerpiece
Pick out a large pumpkin with a nice flat bottom cut a hole in the top. Scoop out the seeds and line the inside with aluminum foil or a plastic bag. Fill about 3/4 of the way up with potting soil and flowering plants.Red and green leaf lettuce, rosemary, thyme, violas and pansies work great!
Random Decorations
Purchase a few of the mini pumpkins from your local grocery store and trace a circle around the top of each pumpkin and carve out the circle. Insert a tea light candle and your done. You can place these randomly around the house or you can put them in a large rustic looking container filled with water. Add a few fall leaves springs of herbs for some color. The pumpkins float nicely.
Line Your Steps
The front door of your home is like a cover to a book. Make it spectacular! Line the steps of your home with fall flowers such as Boxwoods and Mums. Then scatter different shapes, sizes and colors of various pumpkins and squashes amongst the flowers.
Accent your Door Knocker
Zip tie a couple of crooked gourds together and tie them to an oval piece of foam that is about 5" long. Cover the zip ties with an orange or yellow ribbon. Hot glue springs of croton, ferns and different colorful types of foliage over the foam core. Loop a wire through the ties in the back and and above the door knocker.
Wreath
Pick up some Indian corn and a few sheaves of fall plants and tie together in a bundle with some burlap. That's it! Hang it on the door with some wire and you have a beautiful fall wreath for the front door.
