Every Saturday there is a farmer market set up in Brooksville at the steps of the 'old courthouse' at Main street between Jefferson and Broad...it is from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Local, fresh organic produce, local fresh raw honey, local goat's milk soap products, local organic backyard produce growing help and instruction and so much more...sometimes music, sometimes other local grown or made products for purchase. The benefits of the vendor rental booths go to the local Outreach Love Your Neighbor. Love your neighbor feeds all who come every Sunday at the American Legion Hall on Ft. Dade in downtown Brooksville, and is coordinated by Lisa and John at Rising Sun Cafe right there walking distance from the market. Enjoy some of their amazing coffee, free wifi, free computer usage, locally home made pastries and an awesome menu of brunch, lunch and salads in their historic setting surrounded by their local artist Art Gallery and gift shop. The produce they use mostly comes directly from the community farm here in town.
