The 40 acre fairgrounds at US 41 south of Brooksvile, in Hernando County, Florida may be getting an uplift which is needed. They are thinking of a 3,000 seat auditorium, covered main areana and paved parking facilities. There is a master plan being presented to the County Commission in October.

Of course due to the economic situation everybody is worried how much willit cost and who is going to pay for it?

Time will tell but I think we all should have a positive attitude and move ahead with these projects . Whent here is development, there are jobs created which in turn allows people to spend money. If we stay pestimistic and don't spend money, people lose their jobs and it it s a dominoe effect.

We need to have fun and new things to do.
