We all know about the chains and what they have to offer, but when I am travelling I like to eat at the local establishments and I thought I might pass on a couple of the place I go.
At breakfast time, depending where I am, I have had very good luck at the Breakfast Station on Little Road just south of the government center. Good service, friendly atmosphere, and of course, good food at a reasonable price. If I am on 19 in the Holiday area, I like the Amercan Diner, another place that is popular with the locals.
When it comes to a good lunch after golf or a dinner, my choice is Ron's on Rt 52 across from where they are building the new Fivay High School. Whether it is Bar B Que or a steak, or my favorite grilled shrimp, it is good and reasonably priced. They also have the best hush puppies I have ever had.
