Rotary Centennial Park, centrally located on Sandlor St. between Landover and Portillo, was obviously well planned and the result is spectacular. The doggy runs are huge and divided into 3 fenced areas, one for larger dogs, one for medium dogs and the last is for tiny dogs or it can be used for training. Most of the large trees were left on the property for shade; there are picnic tables for seating, fresh water, plastic bags for cleaning up, ample parking and restrooms. At any time of any day (it’s open during daylight hours) there are dozens of dogs in each area running and playing together while the owners relax, visit and watch their pooches enjoying the freedom of being ‘off leash’.
