Plans for the Suncoast Parkway 2 project are being suspended due to the Nation's budget crisis. Also Plans to present a proposed route for county commission approval later this year are postponed indefinitely. About $140 million was removed from the Parkway project for design and right away and reallocated to other turnpike projects.   The project is on hold until the econmy allows for funding to come back to the project. Citrus county residents have mixed emotions about the project. Some are delighted about the postponement others were hoping this project would come sooner than later.
