Nearly 90 rides, 10 of them new, and 100 food vendors are filling up the fairgrounds!
The Florida State Fair has been a tradition since 1904 in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. Even through all the trials and tribulations over the years, the Florida State Fair continues on, every February, year after year!
The State Fair will provide an abundance of entertainment through tonight, February 5, 2009 and Monday, February 16, 2009, when the gates close! Daily parades, musical entertainment and incredible performances by Washboard Willy and many others will fill up your day with nothing but good family fun!
Located at 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, only 7 miles east of downtown Tampa, parking is free and ticket prices are as much as $12 on the weekends ($10 during the week) for ages 12 and up and $6 on the weekends ($5 during the week) for children 6-11 and free for children 5 and younger. The gates open daily at 9:00 a.m. and close between 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.
