Don't forget to mark your calendar off January 9th & 10th to visit the Manatee Festival located at US HWY 19 & Citrus Avenue in Historic Downtown Crystal River located in Citrus County.
This annual festival offers something for everyone from a Fine Art Show with exhibitors from around the US, over 150 Craft Vendors, Manatee Tours, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show featuring "Sandy" the log rolling dog, chopping, sawing, axe throwing and dragster chainsaw fun for the whole family! Many Children's Activities such as rock climbing, pony rides, bounce house, face painting & so much more. Various Live entertainment and don't forget many varities of food with over 25 booths participating. Why there's even a Beer and Wine Garden where the live entertainment will be featured as well as large screen TV's for sports fans.
Admission is $2 for adults and a shuttle service is being offered just blocks from the event for $1 per person for a round trip ride. Located in the heart of Crystal River, it is about 35 minute ride from Hernando County and approximately 1 hour North of Tampa. Don't miss out on this opportunity to have fun with friends and family and learn about our precious Manatees too!
