Due to the 3 year drought in Florida, the Southwest Florida Water Management District (Swiftmud) has put into place the toughest water restrictions to date!
In some counties lawn watering has been limited to once a week, watering times have been modified and the allowance of using fountains has been changed. It is important to keep up to date with the changes in the restrictions as the repercusions, both monetarily and environmentally, can be costly.
If we all do our part by following these water restrictions, we can aid in replenishing the water supply quickly. For any other questions that you may have in regards to the new water restrictions please visit the Swiftmud website.
